Hi, I have a toshiba regza 37x3030d lcd which has stopped working.. No sound or picture.. The green light comes on but nothing else... When you first power up the tv the screen flashes but then nothing...Also when you first power up the tv when you look down the vents on the top rear of the tv a Blue light comes on then fades to nothing... Hi, I tried to put my 32inch Regza lcd tv on and nothing happens at all. Ive tried changing the fuse and plugging into a different socket and nothing works at all. The power cable was stuck under the stand, could that be the problem?

Model Toshiba 37WL58T LCD. This model is no longer supported in South Africa. The TV switches off automatically after +-20minutes. Damage was caused by a power surges. Hi we have a Toshiba 40RV52U. It is about 1.5yrs old. Today in florida there was a storm and the power went out. We were watching tv as this happened and heard a popping noise. I am guessing, if there are fuses in tvs, that a fuse was blown. Is that a correct assumption? We have checked the power source and it is ok and all other entertainment equiptment is still working. Our tv is no longer under warranty. Is this something easy to fix ourselves or do we need a technition in? any info is helpful. Thank you. Katie

Willie unplug the TV, check all fuses and cable connections, check if the fans are working, may need to blow out the dust. If all ok and you have sound but no pic check the power supply board for correct voltages. It could be the power supply board or the video control board.

Toshiba 42HP84 mal-discharge issue, bracket shorted to Y-drvbt IC13 between pins 1 and 2, replaced both the Y-SUS and Y-drvbt and now have half abnormal screen, with sound and video. the other half is very dark with some pixel activity? Did I surge the control board or should I suspect the X top and bottom? The right side of the screen is very dark almost black. At times lines appear from the top and bottom. Looks like a mal-discharge when turned on then fades to half pictue. The left side has an abnormal dark picture but display sound and video from source. Looks like a mal-discharge with video. Help.

Our Toshiba 32WLT66v has freeview built-in but the sky channels, channel4+1 and Dave channels sound is breaking up, we have unpluged, moved and tried it elsewhere and still have the same problem We have also reset & auto tuned many times.Our thoughts are that it is a tv freeview !
