hello. i bought tomtom go 730 half year ago.used only several times and all the time it was on the shelf.now i took it and dont know why but screen all the time sparkling and sometimes it shuts off.i can see everything in screen but the only problem is light. like i said its sparkling and sometimes shuts off.do u know whats wrong? and how much can it cost to repair?

i have a tom tom go 520 which is not charging, i get a green light where the charger connects with the cigarette lighter but none at the end where it goes into the device unless i hold it in very tightly. anyone have any idea?

whilst changing the battery in my go 720 i inadvertantly damaged two component identified as d218 and d219 ( this is on the pcb near the top right hand corner of the battery), can you identify these parts so i can purchase them and have a go at fixing it myself, they appear to be two different sizes.

tom tom carminat in renault laguna 02 factory fitted.changed battery on car and it hasent worked since.i have replaced ,screen and main modual,but nothing happends.the only thing i havent replaced is cd reader.have also checked all fuses and all alright.the cd reader light is green and i can hear it working.but that doesent mean its alright.i think i have spiked the system when i replaced the battery.but where ???

my 520 kept freezing after the update failed, and they turned it round all up and running within the week.
my xl had a broken touch screen and they did that also. i was pretty impressed.

i have a tom tom xl one that is two years old. the internal gps reciever is not functioning and i wondered if i can get this repaired? tom tom said i can exhange the unit for another at the cost of 70 but as the unit is working and in excellent condition other than this fault i would rather get it fixed if possible.
