Julian - Sat, Jun 4th 2011, 19:06I have just brought a secondhand siemens ET783501E hob but it doesnt have any fixing clips/clamps. It has black plastic lugs on both side and i can only assume that there is a clip that goes on to this some how. Any help would be really helpful. Thanks

Mike - Tue, Dec 14th 2010, 10:55We have a Siemens Gas Hob Glass model ER657502E and once again the safety ignition button has broken, this must be a weaknesss in the desing as usually Siemens products in my experience are made to last. Do you have the part I need to fix this myself. To be honest I dont think if I buy a new one I will go for such a sophisticated hob as the safety ignition once broken leaves you without your hob as it wont let you turn on any of the gas rings which is daft really, I think the design should allow you to override the safety feature, especially if it is the part that keeps breaking ! Any advice would be gratefully received. thanks Debbie
