Hello, I have two main boards for a samsung 46 650 lcd tv. part # bn94-01666k. I bought this tv two years ago and it now has colored lines dancing across the screen. I called Best Buy tech line and was told my problem could be caused by the main board. For $220 and 15 minutes of my time I could fix it myself. So I bought the part and put it in easy as coud be right? Wrong, I plugged the tv in and still have lines dancing across the screen. I called the tech line and was told the board is not returnable and the part I really need is $800, not happening! So I bought a 58 panasonic plasma and a costly warrenty. I now have the main board I bought and the the board from the tv which was not the problem after all. I wouldnt mind selling them for $50 each to recover some of my losses.

I bought a Samsung LCD 32 in television and spent the following month ringing samsung for a part that connects the television to the base they constantly put me on hold and when the operator returned they would insist that they know the part and it will be with me in 7-10 working days they kept sending the wrong part and wouldnot listen to what i was saying as they wanted to move to the next call. I have been a call centre manager for years and advice to samsung is to divide the call centre so that when calls come in you get to pick the correct department and then employ or train people in customer service to reduce repeat calls if i dont get this part i will continue to call samsung but i will also insist on speaking to a manager as this is unacceptable such a large company should be making the effort to deliver customer saticfaction. As well as not being able to get a simple part i have to wait for ever on the phone before i get an answer 20mins I expect better. I think Samsung make good quality goods but they need to improve on full customer saticfaction i write this after yet another frustrating phone call for a simple part...........

Hi, I was wondering if you can help me with my query. I currently have the Samsung 42 Plasma (Model PS42A456P2D) and seem to have misplaced the screws that attach the tv to the plastic base unit. I have since improvised and made a temporary measure to secure them together, but in the log run I will require the screws. Do you supply the screws ? I think that there are 8 in total which I require. I have tried partmaster but they where unable to help me.

The official dealers want stupid money to even discuss whether its repairable with me far beyond what it would be worth doing given the cost of these TVs now. Do you repair Samsung Plasmas and do you recognise the fault I am describing? How much would charge for a repair? If this costs more than 150 to repair, does anybody want to make me an offer to buy it off me for spares?
