I bought a Philips Model 3548 DVD Players from UAE. Now, the system is not working. Your authorised repair shop at Mangalore says that the power board failure and needs Rs 5000/- (Approx) for repairs. Kindly advise

I have a Philips DVDR 3595H HDMI player / recorder. The DVD R/W drive unit is faulty - it does not release the disc to eject. The spinning part sticks to the cover dragging it down so the head does not clear stopping the disc from ejecting The internal dvd drive p/n is 5VC0726441203. Can you supply parts for this please

anyone out there know where you can get the dvd unit for a dvdr3380/05B? we get a constant blocked message because the dvs are not lifted (or dropped) properly by the mechanism) but everything else working fine. thanks nick

Hi I have a new philips dvd recorder dvdr3305/05 which has been stored unused for about 5 years. This does not power up when plugged in and even though unused philips cant do anything as its way out of warranty (tip, check things when you but them!!!!) have done the usual checks fuses etc but cant see whats wrong, can anyone help? is it a common problem with this unit? Must be jinxed as i have a sony video which has gone the same after not even playing one complete tape( see other post Sony video recorders) Thanks again Paul

Hello, I hope that you can help me. I have a fairly new Phillips DCP 850 DVD Player with a cracked display screen. It just cracked when mu daughter opened the player up to use it, she is only 10 years old, so not that strong. The unit was sent back for repair under guarantee but the company have said that it is not repairable under guarantee. When I asked them to repair it and I would pay they said that the item was not repairable. The display screen is 199mm by 129mm wide with a sticker on it ( probably stuck on by Phillips) with the following BOE0742691R-4024 59.08A02.014 The barcode on the display screen has the following CM7508408820ZS201 AU OPTRONICS 07/21 MODEL NUMBER A085FW01 V.4 Made in China Is it possible for me to obtain a display from your good selves please, if so how much will it cost Regards Charlie Holford
