How can I get my navman S200 apart, as the map upgrade is considerably larger than the internal memory. I would like to replace the internal memory and the battery as it only lasts a few minutes disconnected from a power supply. I have removed two screws from the bottom and two screws under plastic covers from the top rear, but still nothing moves.

My Navman is working fine, however, the back of the unit has disintegrated due to heat. Specifically, the part of the backside where the metal insert of the antenna pivot is mounted is disintegrated and I was able to extend the life of the mount by using epoxy but now that has disintegrated as well. I would like to know how I can either obtain a new backside for replacement if possible. I can send a picture of exactly what is damaged for your review if necessary.

I have a Navman n40i GPS system that crashed shortly after the warranty expired (of course). The usb cable seems to not fit tight enough to charge the unit unless I jiggle the connection till the light goes on and hold the connection REALLY tight. I called Navman about repair and they want more to repair the unit than I paid for it! I like the camera feature of this gps and would like to get it working. I have taken off the back and the usb connection appears to be solidly soldered to the board. Any ideas?
