I am looking for a new power lead for a maxtor 500gb ext hardrive. I also need the part that the power lead connects to. The whole board that connects the power to the hardrive if that makes any sense? Its the part that has the dc power and fire wire connectors on it

My Maxtor (Quantum Fireball) 541DX 5400rpm 20 gbUltra ATA/100 Hard Drive. (oct. 2001) Has Stopped working. It was installed as Primary Slave drive and now does not start during boot. The Primary Master boots the PC but the Maxtor drive is now inaccessable. Guess its been a power surge or fatal motor flaw. Can you suggest a way forward, please, Regards, Hugh

I have a maxtor onetouch 3 (with two internal hard drives), in which the interface board has died. This takes in the power supply, network feeds and links to the hard disks. Any chance you may have a replacement, please?
