Lawrence Gregg - Tue, May 31st 2011, 13:32My JVC TH-S3 digital Home Theatre System served me well for over 3 years untill its sound went off. On investigation through a local technician here in Kenya it was determined that the Audio amplification I.C. was kaput on some of its appendages, hence he bypassed them and managed to refit it with sound for like 3 of the speakers including the sub-woofer. Now all of those are gone and I guess the I.C. is totally zonked. Can someone let me in on where to get this item, here in Kenya its seemingly unavailable.? thanks in advance.
Philemon Ochieng - Sat, Nov 6th 2010, 18:34HI, I have a really frustrating problem with my JVC NX-PS1 mini system. I bought it new and when I connected everything up with my Ipod it worked beautifully. However when I turned it off and restarted it again there is no sound at all. Then after trying it several times it starts playing properly. But when I turn it off and restart there is no sound at all. Its driving me mad. The Ipod is obviously playing and the run time is incrementing but no sound at all. I have cheched and double checked the speaker connections and they are fine. Another odd thing is the pause button does not work. Can someone help as it seems such a simple device.
paul troalic - Fri, Jul 30th 2010, 13:39My JVC Home theatre system (XV-THP7) reverts to standby mode all the time - was told thius is a CPU problem. Can I find a replacement CPU if this is correct?
Greg Barnham - Fri, May 28th 2010, 01:37I have a JVC Home Theatre system Model XV-THV70R which has been great over the years but is now playing up. I cannot afford to replace it so I would like to repair it. The unit powers up ok but when I am using the Aux mode, it keeps switching to DVD mode every few minutes whether a DVD is in the unit or not. When I try DVD mode, the unit fails to play DVDs and makes funny noises although its continuously trying to read a DVD. It may be cleaning or such like but seems to be more than that. Any advice is welcome. I live close to Glasgow should you wish to refer me to a repair centre. Thanks, David.

LORD KINGSLEY BAFFOE - Fri, Mar 5th 2010, 18:55I have a JVC DVD DIGITAL THEATER SYSTEM. The model is a SP-TH-M505 The fan in the Sub woofer is not running. I am looking for a schematic on how it works so I can determine what the failing component is. The system turns on and runs for about 20 minutes then shuts off. I have yet to see the fan run. The fan is a 12volt fan so I took it into the shop and put 12volts dc to it and it runs fine. So I need additional info on how and when the fan should turn on. Thanks in advance
