a power cut gave us the opportunity to defrost our indesit ba35p fridge freezer. plugged it back it in and this happened:
1. two flashing lights to indicate high temperature, as expected
2. interior light came on in fridge
3. the compressor did not start, even after the 8 minute delay
4. the fridge light went out
5. the flashing lights went out
6. the power light is on
now it just silently looks at me!

any ideas?

model ban 134nf . fridge not cold, freezer not freezing, light comes on,fan comes on, open fridge door fan goes of. no noise from compressor, help.

fridge freezer clicks violently from the top you can feel the vibration, then it stops clicking and the power goes off. i have to switch if off and switch it back on again and then it starts up again, help??
