My delonghi magnifica trips the circuit breaker in the house each time I switch it on. Can this be fixed?

The water from the coffee filter holder is not flowing directly into the jug but a small amount of liquid is backflowing on the spring loaded lever to form a drip which over the course of brewing a pot of coffee causes an egg cup amount to end up on the hotplate and onto the worktop. Is it possible to replace the filter holder?

Alun - Mon, May 10th 2010, 15:56hi, i have a manual Magnifica type: ESAM 3100 SB after about 6months of operation it was stuck (w/out any order, just power-on, the powder-container drive-up to the top and i stopped the machine since the motor keeps pressing the tray against the stop! i dissmantled the machine and rotate-back the assy down. since then the machine isnt operated. whan power-up the 2green-leds of the cups (1&2) are on with the red led of the warning, all three leds are steady-on and nothing move. i believe the controll-card is broken. pls. advice.
