I have a Britannia range (12 years old) and like a number of enquires the main oven does not heat anymore. Th fan works but no heat. Is this a thermostat problem and is it easy to repair. How much is it to replace the thermostat/elemennt if that is what it is? PS Do you post to Belfast?

Britiannia SI-9TF-GRA-CH Kitchen Range (dual fuel) has been advertised on ebay- am wanting to know how much a replacement knob would cost to buy and fix, the knob second from the end on the right is missing, and some of the detail markings for temperatures etc have been rubbed off... which im hoping wouldnt be too much of a problem! weve not much money, what with buying and doing up a trashed house, and baby number two arriving in a few weeks (!!), so want to make thrifty decisions! any ideas/advise? how easy/cost effective would buying a replacement knob be? many thanks, emily

We have a Britannia freestanding E line range cooker. About 5 yrs old or more. The main door no longer shuts properly, it closes but remains slightly ajar so I guess losing heat and not cooking so efficiently. What can we do beside calling out an engineer? Can my husband fix it? We think we had a guest staying who cleaned it while we were away and some how took it apart? Or am I grabbing at straws!!

We have a Britannia SI-10T6-SLX-S dual oven. There is a problem with the bottom right hand hinge on the large oven door. I think the spring has broken - or more accurately the pin linking the hinge to the spring so there is no tension on the hinge. Is this easy to fix and also where can | get the required spares? Alternatively - do you know who can do this type of repair?
